I'm so happy with this product! I have allergic reactions to noseeum bites. The itching and red welts of each bite can last for 2 or 3 weeks. I am especially susceptible to bites at night while reading or sewing under bright lights which attract the bugs. (They are so small that window screens do not stop them.) I tried another product that I'd purchased from a vendor at a craft fair. It seemed to work but was more of a bar that had to be rubbed across the skin. It was heavy on the skin, retained a greasy feel and had a fragrance that I didn't care for. This salve is light, non-greasy and has a pleasant smell. In addition it works with a light application and will last a long time. My husband has tried it for a biting fly repellent at his outdoor summer job. It works well and I'm going to get him his own tin ASAP!
I should have written this a few years ago. I had my 1st stitches (7) in my hand at 75 yrs old. Looked pretty bad so when it started to heal I started to apply the Super Salve+Yarrow. To my surprise, and the doctor, you must look hard to find any scar! Needless to say, my extra container went to a friend that had a long scar foot surgery, and you can barely see a scar. My container was shared to another friend. I'm ordering several at a time..just to help others! Can't believe how well this works!
